Surrounded by olive trees and a few kilometers from the sea, the farmhouse Masseria Rescio is the ideal place to relive the atmosphere of the past and relax in contact with nature.
History
An historical masseria from the mid-18th century, it was later expanded in the early 20th century, both in the stately and rustic parts. In 1892 it was purchased by Oronzo Lenti, an agricultural landowner, municipal administrator and man of culture. To this day it is still owned by the Lenti family.
Originally used for agricultural, pastoral and productive activity, it was on the transhumance routes that guided shepherds and their flocks from inland to the coast, in harmony with the seasons. Even today, with 150 hectares of olive groves, the property maintains a deep connection with the land and its cycles and is an olive oil producing farm.
The logo is inspired by the family crest and motto, featuring four stars that represent the connection between the masseria and nature and serve as a link between its history, present and future.
The stars are a nod to the four elements of earth, air, fire and water, as well as the four seasons. They are also a tribute to the ancient practice of using stars for navigation and the transhumance journeys of the past. Each star signifies the four points of the compass and represents the masseria as a new destination for relaxation.
